Discover the breakthrough field of Canine Sensory Integration (CSI)—a revolutionary approach, fusing behavioral therapy and physical rehab to transform how dogs process the world around them. In this comprehensive course, you’ll master CSI techniques designed to harmonize your dog’s autonomic nervous system, optimize arousal levels, and foster lasting self-regulation. Whether addressing anxiety, reactivity, or recovery from injury, CSI empowers dogs to achieve emotional equilibrium and behavioral stability.

Key Benefits for Physical Rehabilitation:
Our course blends comprehensive online theory with essential hands-on practical units to equip you with the skills to become a sensory integration trainer. The online theory provides a solid foundation, covering key concepts. However, the core of sensory integration cannot be fully conveyed through online theory alone—this skill requires in-person training. In our practical units, we dive deeper, expanding on the theory with detailed explanations and real-world applications.
You’ll practice vital skills alongside fellow students, working directly with dogs. I’ll demonstrate exercises using your dogs and present in-depth case studies, ensuring you gain the confidence and expertise to work effectively with any dog.
Ideal for canine behaviorists, physical therapists and trainers.

All behavior, emotions, thoughts, and movements in dogs begin with sensory information. Without input from the world around them or their internal state, no actions, interactions, or even thoughts and emotions would occur. Sensory information acts as the raw data shaping a dog’s behavior and personality. Dogs process approximately 11 million bits of sensory input per second (e.g., smells, sounds, touch), yet only 40–50 bits reach conscious awareness, with the rest influencing behavior unconsciously. By observing how dogs respond to sensory input, we gain insights into their behavioral processing. Canine Sensory Integration (CSI) guides dogs through targeted physical exercises, such as balance tasks or controlled sensory exposure, to help them filter relevant signals from background “noise.” This balance of external stimuli (e.g., loud noises) and internal cues (e.g., body awareness) prevents overwhelm and promotes calmness. CSI exercises enhance self-regulation, reduce stress, and encourage social engagement, making them valuable for behavioral therapy. It builds good neuro-motor patterns by starting from the most basic building blocks: the correct sensory input. This makes CSI indispensable for canine physical therapy.
